One group gears up in thermal clothing and receives safety instructions before heading out to drive their own sled, guided by enthusiastic huskies. The other group enjoys a warm meal and hot drinks while learning more about the dogs in the kennel, with time to relax at the wilderness camp.
Participants pair up on each sled, taking turns as driver and passenger during the ride through open, relatively flat trails. Afterward, the groups switch activities, ensuring everyone enjoys the full experience. The tour concludes with a peaceful return drive to Tromsø, leaving you with lasting memories of this unique Arctic day.
Wear layered, weather-appropriate clothing and bring a scarf; goggles are optional. Minimum age is 7 years; each child must be accompanied by an adult. This activity is not suitable for pregnant guests. A good level of fitness is required due to the physical nature of the sledding.
