Spend your late morning gliding across snowy landscapes with your own team of huskies. Learn to drive a dog sled and enjoy a traditional Arctic snack after your ride.
Depart from Tromsø Havn Prostneset for a scenic bus journey to Breivikeidet, where friendly guides and a team of eager huskies await. After a warm welcome, you’ll be dressed in thermal suits and given instructions on how to drive the sled safely.
Set off in pairs and take turns leading and riding while your huskies guide you through open fields and birch forests. The sledding portion lasts about 65 minutes, with views that vary daily based on the snow conditions.
End your tour inside a cozy lavvo with hot drinks and freshly baked cake before returning to Tromsø. This late-morning departure offers daylight views and great opportunities for photography.
