Tromsø is situated in the middle of the Arctic circle and witnesses some of the highest levels of aurora activity. Watching the northern lights flicker and swirl across the sky as it illuminates the mountains and landscape is a sight that will stay with you for life. Experience this magical phenomenon in all its glory by joining Arctic Explorers on a one-day trip. You will get to chase this spectacular natural beauty while driving through the scenic landscapes of Troms county.

On a typical tour day, participants must arrive next to Scandic Ishavshotel, Fredrik Langes gate 2, ten minutes before schedule. You will meet your guide here and they will provide all the necessary information and equipment for the trip. The guides are familiar with the area, the aurora forecast, and the best viewing points.

Participants will be taken on a scenic route and can enjoy views of mountains, fjords, and landscapes. The bus will be stopped at the perfect place to view and capture the breathtaking streaks of bluish-greenish lights in the sky. The guide will also help set up your camera and take pictures. After spending a good time under the beautifully lit sky, the trip comes to an end and all participants will be driven back to the starting point.
