View the magnificent humpback whales and killer whales up close. Join Cruice Service on an unforgettable whale safari in Tromsø.
Did you know that humpback whales can grow up to 16 metres long? Witness these mighty, magnificent creatures up close by joining Cruice Service for a whale safari in Tromsø. This guided cruise trip will allow you to view killer whales, humpback whales, porpoises, wild Arctic birds, and much more. Guests are requested to assemble at Tromsø Kai 1, the quay at Nerstranda, at 9:00.
Participants will then board MS Gabriele, a boat designed to offer the perfect whale-watching experience. This boat is large and spacious, and it is stable on rough seas. MS Gabriele is adapted for the disabled and is equipped with a large toilet and window seats for wheelchair users. Once you board the boat and are comfortably seated, you will set off on your whale search.
The guides are familiar with the spots that offer the best chances of viewing the whales. They will take you to areas where whales come in search of herrings. You can enjoy the fantastic fjord landscape as you head to this spot. Guests can then view the beautiful humpback whales and see them burst straight out of the water. You can view the whales from the panoramic windows of the lounge or step out on the deck to get a closer look. You may also stand a chance to see black and white killer whales, Arctic birds, and porpoises. Participants can marvel at these breathtaking sights, take pictures, and be amazed.
MS Gabriele has a kiosk on board, and guests can enjoy beverages such as coffee, tea, mineral water, beer, and wine. You can also buy snacks.
Please note that there is no guarantee that you will see whales on this tour. However, the guides will try their best to help you view them. If you don't see humpback whales, the organisers will allow you to join them on their whale-watching trip free of charge.
Please wear warm clothes and wear a hat and gloves.
